How To Apply Your Press-Ons

Prep Your Natural Nails

Gently push back your cuticles with the wooden stick. Lightly buff the nail surface if it's ridged — just a few swipes, no heavy filing. Run the prep pad over each nail and let it dry completely. This step is what separates a 5-day wear from a 14-day wear. Dry, oil-free nails = longer-lasting nails.

Apply the Adhesive Tab

Peel an adhesive tab and press it firmly onto the back of the chosen press-on nail. Smooth it flat — make sure there are no air bubbles or edges lifting. The tab should sit entirely within the press-on shape, not hanging over the edges.

Press On, Hold, Done

Align the press-on at your cuticle line — not overlapping it, just touching. Press down firmly, starting from the cuticle end and pressing toward the tip. Hold firmly for 20–30 seconds. You'll feel it set. Repeat for all 10 fingers.

Pro Tip: Avoid Water For the First Hour

Give the adhesive tabs time to fully bond before washing hands or getting your nails wet. This makes a significant difference to how long they stay on. If you apply them in the evening and sleep on it, even better.

How To Remove Your Press-Ons

Use the Ease Away Pen

Slide the Ease Away Pen tip under your nail and click to release the formula where it meets the adhesive.

Wait 30 Seconds

Allow the formula to soak in for a couple of minutes, then gently lift the nail as it loosens never force or peel.

Gently Wiggle and Lift

Once removed, wipe away residue, wash your hands, and finish with Sistaco Nail Elixir for healthy, strong nails.

Clean and Store

Once removed, peel the used adhesive tab off the back of the press-on. Store the nails in their tray. When you're ready to reapply, simply add fresh adhesive tabs (available separately at Sistaco Accessories) and you're ready for round two.
