SNS or Dipping powder is made of ground plastic and is actually not a true powder at all. The base ingredients are also like a Super Glue and has fundamentally the some components. Sistaco Powders however are a true powder that is Mineral based.
Our nail bottles are filled by machine and hold 15ml (as opposed to the usual 10ml) and will last on average 20+ full manicures or pedicures! In the rare chance of faulty machinery, Sistaco does not accept any responsibility for slight error in the quantity filled.
Our gorgeous nail powder containers hold between 0.75 grams and 3 gms of powder and the amount the powder container will look to be filled will depend on how fine the mineral powder inside. Sistaco’s fabulous colours are often mixed and weighed by hand and every effort is made to ensure that the exact gram weight is as required. Sistaco accepts no responsibility if on the rare occasion this varies slightly.
As a brand we would never advocate the use of any animal in testing of any product that we produce. So the simple answer is ‘They sure are’!
Almost any substance, natural or man-made can cause a reaction to somebody, somewhere. Everybody is different and you could find that you have a reaction to something that thousands of others would use without any problem. Some people are allergic to wheat for example and others are not. Sistaco nail products are designed for the nail plate and not for the skin. Reactions are very rarely caused by the product being applied as it should, but by contact with the skin prior to being set under light. If our product does go onto the skin it should be removed immediately with a damp cloth or wipe. Do not use on damaged nails. Although unfortunate, a reaction does not mean that the product is not safe for the general population and all of our products are government approved as safe and non-toxic. In the extremely unlikely circumstance that a user has a slight reaction, please remove the product immediately and discontinue use. Most reactions to any product are very minor and will clear up by themselves quickly after usage is stopped. All our products are tested and are compliant with worldwide cosmetic standards.
Although ‘Mineral Bond’ ingredients are fully certified as non-toxic and 16 free; there is always, as with any product, a chance of sensitivity. This is rare with our system and everyone is different dependent on their individual allergies, lifestyle etc. It is always best to read the ingredients on the labels and check for known allergies and follow our step-by-step instructions. We advise trialling on one nail first as a patch test to make sure you have no sensitivity. Leave for a few days, remove and check. If you feel anything unusual or have any reaction, discontinue use and make contact with firstname.lastname@example.org and we can help. There is often a simple solution.
Our Stylus Pens are a very popular addition to our range. They are sealed for first use and need gentle persuasion to encourage flow to start. Simply stand ‘brush side downwards’ on a table for 5 or so minutes. Then gently, a click at a time; turn the bottom of the stylus (holding the stylus downwards) to encourage flow and wait 15 seconds for flow to begin. Do not rush this as you will get too much flow. It will take quite a few turns. Once flow starts you will only need 1-2 clicks each time to encourage more formulation to flow. When finished wipe the end of your brush with a wet wipe and stand up (with the brush facing upwards) for a few minutes and then store away standing up. Next time flow will begin quicker with only 2-3 clicks, make sure to wait before clicking again
After each use, clean applicator before storing. Do not use alcohol or acetone to clean your applicator.
The Sistaco System should be stored in a cool, climate-controlled area away from exposure to natural sunlight. Our System should not be stored in your bathroom, as it’s constantly heating up and cooling down.
Store your Sistaco System right side up, standing up to prevent drying out. Don’t store it upside down or laying down, as this can cause clumps and drying at the neck of the bottle.
After use keep the neck and rim of your Sistaco bottle clean by wiping it with a Lint Free Wipe. This will allow your bottle to close properly and prevent air from getting inside.
Make sure your Sistaco lids are always screwed on tightly to keep them airtight. We recommend closing the lid tightly after each coat.
Please do not use your Sistaco system outside or anywhere in natural light. Also avoid the contents of your bottles being exposed to your LED lamp when it is on.
Yes, this is just a protective cover and is fully removable and should be removed before use.
Sistaco Base and Top Coasts are naturally a little thicker than regular nail polish.
To make your base and top coat easier to manage, you can try turning the closed bottle on its side and rolling it between your hands. The heat from your hands will help to warm and thin out the clear coats, especially if you are in a cooler climate or have the aircon on. Do not shake as this can cause unwanted air bubbles.
If this doesn't help, you can try running your tightly closed bottle under warm water to heat up it up. Repeat this process until your polish is a good consistency.
Additionally, please make sure to follow our safe storage and use instructions including no exposure to natural light
This can happen because of incorrect storage, the rim/neck was not wiped after use or it was used too close to natural or artificial UV rays.
Give the brush a gentle clean with rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol. Make sure to throughly rinse the brush with warm water, then dry with a Lint Free Wipe before putting it back in the bottle. Do not use acetone to clean the brush, because this can melt the brush.

The system is applied in very thin coats and is not on our touching your skin
You are using all Sistaco Branded Products (Base, Top, Lamp etc)
The nail plate is not damaged (from buffing too much, using chemicals without gloves, removing previous products incorrectly or not having a break between manicures, etc).
Your nails are in good condition. If they are not, wait until your nails are in a better condition to use the Sistaco system.
We suggest satin as the best colour for a french manicure.
