If you swim daily or have your hands in water a lot, you might get closer to 7 days. If you prep carefully and avoid prolonged water exposure, 12–14 days is achievable. The prep pad in your kit is there for a reason — don't skip it.

The most common reason press-ons pop off is an incorrect size or poor prep. If the nail is too wide, it'll catch on things and lift from the sides. If your nail had any oil or moisture on it when you applied, the tab won't bond properly. Follow the prep steps, size carefully, and press firmly for 30 seconds — and popping off becomes very rare.

Yes — everyday hand washing and showering is completely fine. Avoid keeping your hands submerged for extended periods (long baths, swimming pools, spa baths). If you're planning a beach day or pool day, applying a fresh adhesive tab that morning will significantly extend the wear.

Yes. Gym sessions, pilates, yoga — all fine. The nails are designed for normal daily life. The only thing to be mindful of is high-impact sports where your hands take a beating (racket sports, rock climbing) where a nail could catch.

Every set includes 15 sizes (0–14). Use our dedicated size guide at /pages/press-on-size-guide — it walks you through measuring your nail width with a ruler or tape measure and matching it to the corresponding size. If you're between sizes, always go smaller. A snug fit that sits edge-to-edge looks more natural and holds better than one that's a little wide.

Every set comes with a mini nail file. You can shorten and reshape any nail to your preference. File in one direction, don't saw. Start conservatively — you can always take more off, but you can't add it back.

No. Everything you need is in the box — prep pad, adhesive tabs, nail file, wooden stick. You don't need glue, a UV lamp, or any other tools. If you want extra hold, you can use a small amount of nail glue instead of the adhesive tab on stubborn nails, but it isn't necessary and will prevent reuse of that nail.

Apply a small amount of cuticle oil or a dedicated removal oil around the edges and base of the nail. Wait 20–30 seconds. Then gently work from the sides using the wooden stick or your thumbnail. The nail will release cleanly. Never force it — if there's resistance, add more oil and wait. This process should take under 2 minutes for all 10 fingers.

Yes — genuinely. After removal, peel the used adhesive tab off the back of the press-on. Store the nails in the original tray. When you want to wear them again, apply fresh adhesive tabs (sold separately as 'Replacement Adhesive Tabs' on our website). With careful removal and storage, most customers get 5–8 full wears from a single set.
